Harbour and Que des parties were created together as a reflection on our attempts to piece together parts of a story that slips past our conscious memories, yet remain with us as embodied experiences. With the large panels in Harbour, I was interested in ideas of protection, sheltering, loss and letting go. While creating the small pieces in Que des parties, I was thinking about the relationship between the concrete and abstract when our experiences settle to the deep physiological layers of our being.
