Harbour and Que des parties were created together as a reflection on our attempts to piece together parts of a story that slips past our conscious memories, yet remain with us as embodied experiences. With the large panels in Harbour, I was interested in ideas of protection, sheltering, loss and letting go. While creating the small pieces in Que des parties, I was thinking about the relationship between the concrete and abstract when our experiences settle to the deep physiological layers of our being.

Que des parties (Complete Series)

‘Harbour’ and ‘Que des parties’ were created together. As a reflection on our attempts to piece together parts of a story that slips past our conscious memories, ‘Que des parties’ considers the relationship between the concrete and abstract when our experiences settle to the deep physiological layers of our being.
