Moment II builds on what I started with Moment I, but begins to look more closely at the interconnectedness of our inner and outer landscapes. The intricate branches can be seen as forming into systems of arteries as well as trees, where the patterns make reference to both an internal and external landscape. In the later pieces in this series, actual human figures have been integrated into the design of the branch systems. The physiology of the gestures echoes the actions and reactions that are a result of our psychology as well as our environment. The figures in the trees are subtle but slowly reveal themselves, moving in harmony with the environment or reacting to it.
